Brandi Farmer, MSN, APRN, PNP-AC

Brandi Farmer, MSN, APRN, PNP-AC, is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner board-certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Thus, she is a proud alumna of The University of Texas at Arlington. Importantly, She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Accordingly, underscoring her dedication to promoting standards of high-quality pediatric healthcare.

Brandi spent 20 years in multi-specialty pediatric nursing at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2020. Specifically, her role consisted of providing high-level inpatient management of children with orthopedic conditions and trauma-related injuries.  It was in this role she discovered her passion for orthopedics. She continuously seeks opportunities to collaborate, learn, and contribute to the advancement of pediatric orthopedics.

In addition, with her commitment to excellence in patient care, Brandi holds certifications in PALS, TNCC, and ATLS and has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field. She has been a DAISY award nominee and received the Medical City Dallas City Star Award in 2012. As well as receiving numerous accolades from patients and families throughout her tenure.

Brandi is a native Texan. Additionally, she grew up in a small town and has always remained close to where she calls “home.” Currently, she lives in Waxahachie with her husband, Jerry, and is the proud mother of adult children Hunter, Hayven, and Jordyn. Meanwhile, she loves large family vacations, weekend getaways, and relaxing poolside with friends and family.
