Doctor Shyam Kishan

Shyam Kishan MDDr. Shyam Kishan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric orthopedic and scoliosis surgery. He is fluent in many languages,  including French, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, and Malayalam. His offices are in Dallas, Arlington, Flower Mound, Frisco, and McKinney. He is also a member of the Southwest Scoliosis and Spine Institute.

He then went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at the Randy Chimsrens Hospital in San Diego. Doctor Kishan is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.  He has been recognized for his contributions to the field of Pediatric Orthopedics. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and the Texas Orthopaedic Association. Doctor Kishan specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions. For instance, trauma, fractures, infections, benign tumors, limb deformities, hip dysplasia, exstrophy, and clubfoot. He has expertise in spine deformities, early-onset scoliosis (Mehta casting, Magec growing rods, and Vertebral Body Tethering -VBT).  In addition,, scoliosis, kyphosis, and spondylolysis, and spondylolisthesis are his specialities.

Doctor Kishan is the medical director of Medical City Children’s Hospital Orthopedics & Spine and Pediatric Orthopedic Trauma programs. He has received many academic honors and awards, has published in several peer-reviewed journals, and presented his work at national and international meetings.
